Susan Fotheringham
BSc Hons MSc AdvCertVetPhys MCSP MHCPC MIRVAP

Lead Physiotherapist

Susan qualified from the University of Dundee in 2005 with a 2:1 BSc (Hons) in Sports Biomedicine, she then went on to qualify with an MSc in Rehabilitation Science (Pre-registration Physiotherapy) in 2010 from Glasgow Caledonian University.

She has worked in private practice since 2012 working alongside athletes at the Scottish Institute of Sport and travelling with the Scottish volleyball team and working with local rugby and football teams.

Susan strives to provide the highest standards and ensures that she takes the time to understand her patient's journey to get a better understanding of their injuries.  She utilises a combination of hands on treatment and exercise therapy to ensure that her patient's receive the best possible care and return to normal function as quickly as possible.  Her areas of interest include back pain, knee and ankle injuries.​

Susan is also a qualified Veterinary Physiotherapist and holds an Advanced Certificate in Veterinary Physiotherapy which she gained through post graduate study at Nottingham University.   Susan works part time as a Veterinary Physiotherapist, treating dogs from all walks of life, from beloved family pets, obedience and agility athletes to working dogs, and she loves being able to combine her love of working with both people and animals.
